Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Society is pleased to support this worthwhile cause and will be running a number of fundraising initiatives over the course of the year, including entering a team in the Jane Tomlinson York 10k. Thank you for supporting our runners in raising over £300 towards our goal.

Michael Peach from Ware & Kay Solicitors Ltd and President of the Yorkshire Law Society undertook a “double-marathon” cycle ride of more than 52 miles on Sunday 17th August in order to raise money for Martin House.

Mike hadn't been on a bike for more than 30 years but successfully completed the route from Wetherby to York and back via the River Ouse, with a little help from his friends and some padded shorts!

Finally a whopping £500 raised on 22 April by Denise Morgan of PSG North and East with a lovely pampering night at L K Bennett in York. Thank you to everyone who came, donated and gave their time in wonderful cause.
