I want to start my story with below data from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR):

- 65.3 million forcibly displaced people worldwide
- 21.3 million refugees
- 10 million stateless people
- 107,100 refugees resettled in 2015.

My run on Vodafone Malta Marathon 2017 will be for refugees in Africa and Europe. 

Money raised will go to Vodafone Foundation's longstanding partners, UNHCR & Europe’s largest grassroots distributor of aid, Help Refugees. UNHCR & Help Refugees play a critical role in supporting both the immediate and long term needs of those who are displaced.
