Story

Hello and welcome to my just giving page.😄

It has amazed me over that past few weeks how brave all our NHS workers have been and how they all go above and beyond what is expected of them without a second thought. Being inspired by others that I have followed whilst being isolated I wanted to give back myself and thought this would be a great platform to try.

I am going to attempt 10,000 Press ups within a 24 hour period starting 9th April at 1200pm (midday). This will work out an average of roughly 7 Press ups every minute for the whole 24 hours 🥵

I plan to Facebook live stream the whole thing so please tune in if you would like to support or even say hi to my training partner and motivator Ollie 🐾

Even though I am fit and motivated, I still feel nervous and do not know how it will go so I will apologise now if my reputations become not as ridged as I tire or I struggle to meet my targets, I am planning to variate and promise that I will not stop for the 24 hour period.

I have chosen the 9th April as it is my mother’s birthday and would like to dedicate this challenge to her as she will not get to see any of her kids with us all being on lockdown. She is a nurse who works for the Belfast health and social care trust (NHS) and another reason for my charity of chose.

Wish me luck and keep safe

Stay home train alone 💪🏽
