Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I will be taking on the 100k Challenge around the Isle of Wight next year in May, to raise money for Oakhaven Hospice Trust. In Memory of my Father, Miles Ayling who passed away in October 2005 of a brain tumour.
Having done the 100k from London to Brighton in 2014 raising over £5000 pounds with Tom Penman I feel its time to get off my arse and do another one, with slightly different scenery!
Its important to me to raise money for this charity as Oakhaven made those last days, not only for my dad the best they could, but for me, my brother and my mum, showing nothing but love and care for us all.
I want this challenge to not only be in memory of my dad, Miles but also to be in memory of other loved ones near to me and my friends that have we have lost to cancer. My godfather, Andrew Hodges who passed away in 2014. David and Charlotte Penman, parents to friend and first 100k companion Tom Penman. And the mother to Roxy Imam, and sister to Hilary Short, Helen, who they lost at the end of last year.
In the art of naming and shaming I will be using the closing months to the challenge convincing Roxy, Tom, Frank and Alec to join me!
Thanks again for visiting! If you can donate anything, I would be extremely appreciative. Oakhaven do an incredible job day in and day out for patients and families in the Newforest, and it would mean the world to me to achieve my target of £1000.
I look forward to updating you all with my training!
