We help the homeless and people in crisis to enable them to become independent again

Story

Stanleys along with 11 other Wigan bands, The Lathums, The Lottery Winners, The Lilacs, Flechettes, The Facades, Garden Party, Rivver, Joe Astley, Pink Shirts For Pale People, Cavelia and The Ravellas have come together to raise money for The Brick and record the classic ‘Do They Know it’s Christmas’

“All the bands involved in this campaign are extremely supportive of each other and have a great camaraderie. The Wigan music scene is amazing right now and to give back to our community we wanted to do something a little bit different. We all know of, and appreciate, the inspirational work that The Brick does to help people facing poverty throughout the year, and at Christmastime this demand for The Brick’s help increases so much more’’ STANLEYS

THE BRICK  - Our aim is to eradicate homelessness and poverty in our community. We support homeless people, those facing homelessness, and people experiencing crisis or poverty in the Wigan borough.People who are marginalised by society, who can, with support, become independent and contribute positively to their communities. Services include crisis intervention, housing and health support on behalf of the Council, a foodbank, social and employment training, and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. We ensure no one in our community gets left behind.
