My hero died in October of 2005 at 10 years old.. I barely knew her, but she changed my life. Taylor McKinney (Tater Tot) fought a long hard battle against cancer; and, while cancer may have taken her life, it made her soul live forever. In today's society peace love and happiness are things that seem to have been forgotten. Taylor (Tater Tot) was my best friend's daughter, and her tragedy and his reslience through it taught me more about living then I could have ever imagined. The year after she passed away he asked me to go to camp just as moral support and I fell in love with that place. For one week every year I get to spend my time with some very special people. At camp a lot of people get nicknames; hers was Tater Tot because she loved.. guess what? Tater tots. Like many people I have had very high times in life and very low times in life. But Camp Happy Days is a place where I find pure joy. Maybe you find it somewhere else. For everybody there has to be something you love and can find you joy. This will be my 17th year at camp and I'm hoping to raise $17,000 but I will be happy with $17. Inspiration to help make the world a better place is always right in front of us. I'm asking everybody who reads this to just give $1 and ask everybody you know to give $1. If people give more that's great but I would rather have 17,000 people read this and be inspired by their own Tater Tot. If everybody can find their own Tater Tot that touches their heart and moves their soul the world can be a good place again.  Find your own Tater Tot; we CAN change the world for the better.
