Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Last October my wonderful colleague Geraldine Byrne died aged 55 after an aggressive pancreatic cancer. She took the news, in September, that the cancer was likely to end her life quickly in true Geraldine style, with dignity - she was as amazing in death as she was in life and I miss her and her oh so wise words. She left a son facing his last year at University without his mum.
24 people every day are told they have pancreatic cancer and many do not survive, often because a diagnosis comes too late. Please help me to raise money to help Cancer Research UK to continue their research into pancreatic cancer. Let's stop other inspirational women from dying far too young.

Running 13.1 miles is not something I find easy, though I love to run - last year I got through miles 10-13 at this event by thinking of Geraldine - this year she's not here but knowing I'm raising money in her memory will spur me on. PLEASE, please, dig deep and donate whatever you can. THANK YOU.
