Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On August the 10th I'm going to put on the spandex hop on the bike and take on a 100 mile cycle from the Olympic Stadium down to the stunning Surrey countryside before heading back to end of the Mall in Central London. Whilst cycling the closed roads of London and the hills of Surrey will be an amazing experience you all know my competitive nature so I'll be doing my best to post a time Wiggo would be happy with. That said the real purpose of the day is to raise money for Envision charity

Envision "engages young people in social action that develops themselves whilst benefiting others". These are often children from poor backgrounds but is about engaging young people in the community encompassing a plethora of issues facing society today. This is a charity that was new to me but has close connections with Aberdeen Asset Management and is doing an amazing job. Envision describe themselves as a philosophy, not a programme. They are an enabler in bringing out the best in young people and empowering them for the greater good and to inspire themselves and others.

Any kind sponsorship would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Phil

A young person’s background mustn’t determine their future. At Envision, we empower young people from less-advantaged backgrounds to develop essential skills and confidence as they deliver a social action project that makes a positive change in their school or college community.
