Val spent many years working at Danetre hospital, both on the ward and in outpatients. In the last couple of months the community palliative care team were invaluable, and she spent her last days receiving excellent care by the amazing team on the ward.

Val was definitely a people person, and still had friends from when she was at school. When she started working in the caring profession, she found her true vocation. Which is why we’re raising money in her memory for the friends of danetre hospital, as they support every area of the hospital.
