Very sadly Wayne contracted Covid-19 in April resulting in him being admitted to Royal Derby Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. Following a brave fight for 17 days, Wayne tragically passed away on Monday 4 May. 

Wayne’s Funeral will take place on Wednesday 27 May 12.45pm at Bramcote Crematorium. 

Unfortunately only 10 close family members are allowed to attend as mourners, however we have arranged for a live webcast of the service to be available to view if anyone  would like  the link at no charge.

We are requesting family flowers only please. However if you would like to make any charitable donations these have to be made direct to the charity. The family would request that, where possible, donations be made to Royal Derby Hospital Intensive Care Unit as they took great care of Wayne and the Doctors and Nurses did all they could. You can make  your donation via this Just Giving page. 

In the coming months the family hope to arrange a get together to “celebrate Wayne’s life”.
