London Watsonians Club LWC is raising money for Forces Children Scotland

Team: London Watsonians Club

£420
raised of £360 target

Watsonians Club London Fundraising · 19 February 2021

We support children and young people to reach their potential and thrive.

Story

To mark the 150th anniversary of the LWC Cenotaph
commemoration, the club has voted to fund-raise for the Royal Caledonian Education Trust (RCET) - Scotland's Armed Forces Children's Charity.

In light of the pandemic preventing our normal in-person
meetings, the LWC committee have agreed not to collect 2021 club subs and would instead encourage members to donate to the RCET – the £360 fundraising target equates to our normal annual subs income. Please use gift aid to boost your donation.

In terms of additional fundraising, perhaps you could seek
donations to our JustGiving team page from family and friends in support of: a sponsored virtual bike ride; row; weight loss; or (ahem) dry month! Work is underway compiling a virtual quiz night in aid of RCET, more information on its way soon.

On behalf of the LWC President and committee thank you for
supporting our chosen charity, the RCET.
