Walk the Stars Challenge in memory of our loved ones and hero’s who are our brightest stars, to raise money for the NHS 

During the month of June we are going walk, run or dance our way to 5 million steps!!

We want to walk for our stars, walk to remember them, walk to celebrate them and walk to make them proud of us 💖 #walkthestarstogether #nhs

So who are we, why and how can you help? We are Richard, Donna and Jodie, siblings who sadly lost our father in March after a short battle with cancer. Restrictions were coming into place, hospital visits were limited and sadly we couldn’t hold a full funeral. Everywhere was closed, so little things you didn’t think about suddenly couldn’t happen - order of service cards had to be home made, florists were closed so we had get what we could from the supermarket and worst was not having everyone there, just a handful of us to say goodbye. 

With social distancing and lock down in full swing, during a family zoom we decided we wanted to do something in the memory of dad and to help all the NHS staff who have not stopped and helped us all when needed the most

That’s where Walking the Stars came in! Let’s do this for dad, our brightest star 🌟 

So family, friends and anyone who wants to help and walk for our stars, the NHS, our loved ones, the family we can’t see and in memory of all those we love, we need you ❤️

Track your daily steps and submit as an individual or as a family or team. Where you walk doesn’t matter, be it outside, your garden, lounge or kitchen, we want you to be part of our journey however big or small
