Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!

WHY I'M RAISING FUNDS FOR THE WORLD PEACE FLAME:

As a teacher, I believe passionately that education has a vital role to play in helping young people to develop life skills and values they need to live a fulfilling and peaceful life. In truth, peace is an inside job. It starts with ourselves and the World Peace Flame's 'Peace in your Hands' education pack guides young people through the process. Mahatma Ghandi said, 'If we wish to create a lasting peace, we must begin with the children.'

INVITATION:

I'd like to invite you to support the World Peace Flame.

HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP:

Peace Education in Action is a project of the World Peace Flame Foundation. It is a world wide community who believe that making human values natural and fun is the way to enrich a child’s life. That's why the Peace in Your Hands education pack was created, based on the core values of trust, friendship and love as a way to lasting peace.

At the time of writing, the Education Programme has reached over 46,000 children in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, India, Kenya, Argentina, Nepal, Rwanda, Syria and more but there is much more work to be done.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much!
