We support families bereaved by child loss to have some respite and breathing space.

Story

We are a group of eight friends once again embarking on the incredible journey of the West Highland Way, a 96-mile trek through Scotland's stunning landscapes. This scenic route takes us from Milngavie to Fort William, across rugged terrain, rolling hills, and serene lochs. It's a challenging but rewarding adventure that tests our endurance and spirit.

As always, we are dedicating our walk to my son Gabriel who would have been 4 this year and raising funds for Anam Cara Fasgadh, a remarkable charity that provides support to families who have experienced the devastating loss of a child. Anam Cara Fasgadh offers a safe haven for grieving parents, providing emotional support, counseling, and a community of understanding during their most difficult times.

In addition to our walk, our friend Hugh May will be running the Men's 10K, also in support of our fundraising efforts for Anam Cara Fasgadh. Hugh's dedication and commitment add another layer of support to our cause, amplifying our collective effort to make a difference.

Your donations will help Anam Cara Fasgadh continue their vital work, providing much-needed solace and support to those navigating the darkest moments of their lives. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.

Join us in honoring Gabriel's memory and supporting this essential cause. Together, we can help Anam Cara Fasgadh bring comfort and hope to more families in need.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
