Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dad suffered from prostate cancer but beat it. So as a tribute to him, and the many other people who successfully triumph over this type of cancer I thought I'd test my own over a gruelling two week circuit of the Principality.

A good friend of mine works for Prostate Cancer UK and another friend is fighting the disease as you read this so it seems appropriate that I choose this charity.

After completing the ride my aim is now to inspire others to repeat the course and help me turn this 'loop' of Wales into a world famous iconic ride just like Land's End to John o' Groats and put Wales firmly on the cyclists 'must-do' map. The paperback and e-book of this challenge are available on my website - www.david-lewis.co.uk

Eleven years ago a friend and I cycled LEJOG for Ty Hafan children's hospital. The paperback and kindle e-book of that trip is now a bestseller on Amazon so hopefully, by doing this ride I can raise awareness of this disease in Wales and help many more men get checked out before it's too late.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thanks

Dave
