Many thanks to all for your generosity.

Wimbledon Common Golf Club Captains Robert Frew and Jackie Reiss are delighted to be supporting Dons Local Action Group as our' Captains' charity for 2023/2024.

The last couple of years have been challenging for so many, and these challenges continue. Out of the shared sense of uncertainty and upheaval of the Covid pandemic came the Dons Local Action Group, with the simple aim to help those in need in our local communities. DLAG began providing food packages to those who were suddenly shielding, then refurbishing laptops for kids with no access to online learning. DLAG soon went on to become the go-to for helping those in poverty, in need of food, furniture, household equipment, digital devices and more across the boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston. The charity goes from strength to strength as a result of the immense generosity of donors and the efforts of the hundreds of volunteers.

Several of our club members are volunteers for DLAG already. We are really pleased to be helping raise funds for this vital cause in our local area.
