In December, Sam’s mum Bernadette was unfortunately diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, a very rare bone marrow disease that affects red and white blood cells in blood. 

As a team we have decided to challenge ourselves to run 50km or cycle 300km across March. This will be quite the challenge for us, as we haven’t been allowed to play football since before Christmas and it’s safe to say most of our fitness levels have taken a hit (excluding Millsy and Toby).
