We are running a mufti day to raise money for
Rape Crisis, a charity that raises awareness and understanding of sexual violence and abuse and runs phone lines and Rape Crisis Centres to provide support to victims.
To show our solidarity and support as a community, we will wear red to school next Friday. The colour red is used to bring attention to this frequently invisible issue due to its boldness as it represents the idea that this is an issue that can no longer be ignored.
All the money that is raised through the mufti day and bake sale will be used to help Rape Crisis continue their invaluable services across the UK.
