With a lot of help from our friends we have been able to create these BEE-utiful yellow bee ribbons to say thank you to those volunteering. 

Volunteers are vital to many organisations from hospices, charity shops, children's charities to hospitals who very silently go about their tasks supporting so many services. 

Havering Volunteer Centre have helped many residents improve their lives via volunteering but in more recent times played a vital community role throughout Covid-19:

• Collecting and delivering important  medication to residents who have been told to remain at home for health reasons
• Providing and delivering food packages for those that had no support to get it themselves and found they had very little supplies
• have a friendly voice on the end of the phone for those that had no one to talk too and help them through troubling times
• Collect and deliver personal samples making sure that people can receive medical help
• provide transport so that residents can receive important medial treatment  
• walking of our furry friends ensuring residents have peace of mind and knowing that their furry companion are not going without exercise

These ribbons are just a small way we can say Thank You to volunteers and support Havering Volunteer Centre to continue their work in making volunteering accessible and open to everyone. 

To BEE-a-Volunteer-Supporter and receive a handcrafted ribbon we recommend a suggested donation of £3.50 to cover the cost of the materials and postage but if you would like to make a bigger donation please do!

If you make your donation anonymous we will not be able to contact you to create your Bee-utiful ribbon and post to you.
