Seagrove Centre which is run by NEDC is a dementia day centre in the Craigentinny area of Edinburgh. They looked after Mum before she went into Viewpark nursing home. They run 6 days a week and Mum was going 5 or 6 days a week just prior to going into the home. Seagrove is amazing - they collect people from their homes and then provide a lunch and entertainment as well as hairdressing, baths and outings. Mum really enjoyed going to her "club" and the staff there kept me informed about how she was. They gave my sister Susanna and I real peace of mind so we could work and look after our families. This was especially important for me being 350 miles away. We would like to raise money for them in memory of Mum so they can look after the other people suffering from dementia as well as they looked after Mum.

A collection will be taken at the funeral on Monday 15th November at Seafield Crematorium.
