Take part in the #2.6 challenge for Visyon!

The 2.6 Challenge · 26 April 2020 ·
Visyon are continuing to provide essential mental health services to local children, young people and families in the Cheshire East and Staffordshire Moorlands area. We have adapted our services to ensure the safety of our staff and those who access our services. This means that we are now providing our services through telephone sessions and using other media platforms to reach those who need us.
But we need your help!!
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a big impact on Visyon as we have had to cancel many fundraising events where we are able to raise essential funds to continue to provide our amazing services.
That’s why we are asking people to take part in the 2.6 challenge.
The 2.6 challenge is a challenge created by mass participation event organisers including parkrun, London Marathon and Virgin Sport. The challenge starts on Sunday 26th April and the challenge is to come up with an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and to fundraise or donate whilst you do it.
It is open to anyone of any age but please make sure that your activities follow the government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.
There are lots of fun ways to get involved such as running or walking 2.6 miles, dancing for 26 minutes or even complete 26 keepie-uppies! Make it as fun and creative as you like if you need some inspiration there’s lots of ideas on the 2.6 challenge website; https://www.twopointsixchallenge.co.uk/inspiration.html
From all of us at Visyon thank you for your support!
