In April, myself and my two sons and son in law, will be trekking to the summit of Snowdon. We will be doing this to raise money for Morgan’s Army’s bereavement fund. As a family we have been able to attend the bereavement events that they have hosted and we want to do our bit to give back. Morgan’s Army was created by Matt and Nat Ridler when their son, Morgan, was diagnosed with cancer. Sadly Morgan passed away in June 2023 at Tŷ Hafan and then two months later, my own beautiful little granddaughter Violet passed away at Tŷ Hafan as well, when she was just 11 months old.

At the summit of Snowdon there is a quote that reads:

Copa’r Wyddfa:

Yr ydych chi, yma,

Yn nes at y nefoedd.

The summit of Snowdon:

Here, you are nearer to Heaven.

We will be walking in honour of Violet and every penny you are able to donate goes directly to Morgan’s Army so that they can expand their bereavement services for families like mine.
