Story

Oak and Furrows was an important charity for Dad. As well as being there to help him rehabilitate the many wild animals that seemed drawn to him when they needed help, Dad was in awe of the work that they did.

Very often I would open his car door, only to be greeted with loads of cat food. "Oh, I haven't been out to Oak and Furrows yet," he'd say. A lover of cash, he regularly cleared out his drawer of loose change, would take it up to the change machine at Sainsburys to get some notes and spend it all on cat food for the charity.

Dad was a lover of all things nature but he had a passion for hedgehogs and birds and this is why he felt a close connection with Oak and Furrows. Should you wish, in his honour, to make a donation to them (however big or small), I know that he would be so happy.

Thanks,

Amber and family.
