On 20th December 2021 we lost our beloved father to Covid-19 complications. 

Dad's love of animals started in Uganda and followed through to the UK where he adopted two cats of his own (Fifi and Kitwhaan). In 2014 when Fifi was hit by a car, dad spent thousands of pounds on her surgery even though her chances of survival were slim, he didn't give up on her even when the vets nearly did. Fifi went on to make a full recovery! 

When the time came that he could no longer give the care and attention to his own cats, he asked the Blue Cross to rehome them. They did a stellar job and rehomed them both together! It transpired that the family that adopted them actually knew dad and he was able to rest knowing they were going to a good family. 

After dad sadly lost his older brother earlier this year, he mentioned that he would want a page set up to help the Blue Cross continue their tremendous work...so please donate as little or as much as you can to honour his wishes.
