My name is Viktor and I am a postgraduate Law student at the University of Kent and currently working as an Intern for Operation Black Vote in London. I have decided to run the 5k men and boys race ‘Man on the Run’ along Herne Bay seafront on Sunday, 6 July 2014 to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.

I am fully aware that times are hard and these charity requests are bombarding your emails ever more frequently, however events like Man on the Run are significant in funding Cancer Research UK which is the world’s leading charity aiming to prevent, diagnose and ultimately treat cancer. As Cancer Research UK is entirely funded by the public, we have to make sure that they will not stop their hard fight against cancer. Nothing happens just because we are aware of cancer; therefore, please help me to make cancer an issue of the past.
