Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 25 February 2015 Mags Elliott (was Holland) was taken from us by pancreatic cancer at the age of just 43 years. Mags was a fun-loving, positive, warm, kind and sunny mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend and we miss her every second.
Pancreatic cancer is the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Around 8,800 people a year are diagnosed with the disease. That's around 24 people every day.
There remains a lot of uncertainty about what causes pancreatic cancer and further research is needed into the causes of the disease and the risk factors associated with it.
We've set up this page in honour of Mags to help raise much needed funds for research and to increase symptom awareness. Many people have already donated (at the funeral, by post and directly to pancreatic cancer charities) but if you haven't yet done so and would like to, please add your contribution here. Very many thanks.
