Story

On 26th April, I am running the London marathon in aid of a charity called Dementia Concern. This great charity provides information and support services for people with dementia and their carers in the London Borough of Ealing. This includes assessment, advice & information, monitoring and support, advocacy, day care, short breaks for carers, dementia cafes and carers’ information evenings .

I work with a lot of people with dementia and I feel that it is a condition that is not supported enough. I watch many people and their families struggle from day to day and find it difficult to deal with. I want to do more to support them by raising money for this brilliant charity by running 26 miles.

If you can spare a little change for dementia concern I would be most grateful if you could visit my just giving page and donate. If you could also come and cheer me and the thousands of other runners on the day that would be even better.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
