Fundraising for Bluebell Cancer Patient Care
Story
Myself and colleagues from Santander are supporting Brian Burnie (of Daft as a brush) with his dream to bring free cancer patient transport to the whole of Great Britain and Ireland.
For the last 2.5 years Brian has been walking the UK and Irish coast lines to raise money for Bluebell cancer patient care. On the 23 September he’ll be walking the final leg to The Baltic centre in Gateshead having covered an unbelievable 7000 miles!
In the month of September colleagues from the North East Region of Santander have taken up the challenge to collectively cover the same 7000 mile distance, which must be by foot!
My personal challenge is to walk 300k steps in Sept and my team are committed to walking 500 miles collectively.
