Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, my mum, Carol, suffers from primary progressive MS for which there is currently no cure. MS research is moving fast but we want to help move it even faster giving hope to people who are being diagnosed today. We are a small but mighty team of three: Tim, Nat and me and we are hoping that Nat’s young legs will pull us all up the hills!

The 10-in-10 challenge was set up by Yvonne Booth as a result of her husband Duncan's diagnosis at the age of 39. It's a 16 mile route over 10 Lakeland peaks to be completed in 10 hours. With over 2000m of ascent(that’s the equivalent of climbing Snowdon from sea level - twice!), it will be a tough yet rewarding route in one of the UK's most beautiful locations. All your sponsorship, along with our entry fees, will go to fund vital MS research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
