Tom Lucas was the most amazing and loving Husband, Dad , Grandad and Friend that any of us could ever have wished for. Sadly he passed away on Saturday 3rd April, leaving an empty space in our family and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. 

  Our Dad had battled on with parkinsons over the last 10 years and was also diagnosed with both prostate and bone cancer in June 2020, but not once complained and was still always thinking of others.

  As many of you know, my Mum and Dad have both been heavily involved with our local mencap social club for over 30 years, Dad was the life and soul of every Thursday night there.

  The charities which were close to Dads heart were ' South Sefton Mencap' and 'Cancer  Research'. Many of you have already kindly  donated to the 'Walk All Over Cancer' fundraiser  which I recently completed. However  should any of you wish to make a donation please follow the attached link.

   Dads funeral will be on Monday 19th  April at 2.15pm at Thornton crematorium.  Due to covid restrictions numbers are limited so unfortunately we can't give him the send off that he deserves, however  there is a web link for anyone who would like to join us in remembering  him .
