We help communities in the developing world to build better futures for themselves

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This time last year I had been accepted into the London Marathon and was gearing up to start training. Unfortunately during training I got injured and had to defer my place to 2016. So here I am again except this time there will be no defering, so come April whether I run, walk or crawl I will be crossing that finish Line!

I have never done something like this before and it will be a huge challenge for me, but I have already come so far with my fitness and I'm willing to put in the time and effort to cross the finish line and feel the immense sense of achievement that will come with it!

I'm fundraising for The Eleanor Foundation because it is a charity very close to my family and the money raised will go towards helping people who are less fortunate than us and continue the amazing charity work started by Eleanor Carey.

About the charity

The Eleanor Foundation was formed in 2012 in memory of International Development student Eleanor Carey who was killed whilst cycling in London in December 2011. Her ambition was to work towards providing sustainable futures for communities and the objective of the foundation is to achieve this aim.
