We all decided we wanted to take part in a Swimathon and thought 'why not raise some Money for school at the same time!'

We have all been or still go to the school.

Maezie (12) is going to swim 200 lengths

Elsie (9) is going to Swim 100 lengths.

Dorothy (7) and Nellie (4) are aiming to swim as many lengths as they can but are aiming for 32 each to be the least they do.

The Friends of Kirkby on Bain CE Primary School was formed in 1983 to raise funds for the benefit of our children in our school. Our funding-raising has seen the children benefit from 'wow' days, our Cairn Garden area, staging and speakers for our school productions, the refurbishment of the school playground under the direction of the School Council and new equipment in our school hall. The Friends organise and run a variety of enjoyable fund-raising events including beetle drives, discos, our quiz nights, cake, clothes and book stalls and our annual family summer fete. Everyone who has a child attending our school is automatically a member of the Friends and is welcome, not only to support us financially, but also to offer their time or ideas to benefit our children. We would love you to share them with us and we look forward to welcoming you to our meetings.
