We raise vital funding to support our outstanding school

Story

We have been overwhelmed by the school community and how it has looked after us in recent years and recent days.

The school has gone out of its way to care for us and help us prepare; and the school community of teachers, mums and dads has been a source of great help to us.

Veryan would have been proud to be able to support the school through your generous donations - thank you. Tim X

From Sue Jepson, Head Teacher Barnes Primary:

With your very kind donations we would love to be able to purchase additional staffing hours to run a KS1 resilience group for children. We have resilience groups established in KS2 and they work really well. We would need to train up a member of KS1 staff and then have the capacity to run the group/s on a regular basis. We would also like to further improve our playground provision to ensure that playtimes remain a hive of activity for busy minds and bodies. We want all children to have really fun playtimes that are full of Learning, Love and Laughter. This would involve purchasing more equipment and possibly a clamber stack for children to use/engage with and will benefit the whole school.
