I've been volunteering with the Good Counsel Network recently by joining them at their prayer vigils outside abortion clinics. I have seen the peaceful prayer that is offered to God at these vigils and the real support offered by counsellors to women going through the difficult time of an unplanned pregnancy. The charity's work provides hope for pregnant women who often cannot find practical help or encouragement anywhere else and saves the lives of babies that would otherwise have been terminated.
