Vantage Toyota Charity of the Year · 18 October 2022

We help children with brain tumours to improve survival and quality of life.

Story

Vantage Toyota York are proud to be a charity partner of OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity. This is a local charity who look to  support and care for children with brain tumours, raise awareness of the signs and symptoms and fund research for better and kinder treatments for this dreadful disease.

We have a number of events lined up between September 2022 and September 2023. Our first, a 100-mile bike ride to Brid and Back raised over £2500.

This JustGiving page is here to collect the money for the rest of our events, including staff walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks at the end of April, as well as take in donations from our customers and other supporters.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of under 40s but have just 1% of the government's cancer budget allocated to helping find a cure, so thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and contributing to the cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

OSCAR's PBTC was set up in memory of Oscar Hughes, a 9-year-old who died of a brain tumour in 2014. His journey was heartbreaking yet inspiring. OSCAR's aims to provide support and care to children with brain tumours, raise awareness to help diagnosis and fund research into better treatments.
