Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I shall be travelling as a group to the Turkish / Syrian border in September 2022 In shaa Allaah to deliver food parcels and try to bring smiles and some joy to these beautiful people.

Since the Syria conflict began in 2011, over 3.5 to 4 million Syrian refugees have fled into Turkey and the numbers continue to rise.

Many Syrian refugee families in Turkey left their homes wearing nothing but the clothes on their backs and are in desperate need of support. Many have experienced unparalleled levels of trauma and continue to experience tremendous grief and alienation, while thousands of refugee children are out of school.

Our projects in Turkey address both short and long term needs of refugees struggling to settle and move forwards with their lives.

TURKEY:

£50 buys a food parcel, which will last a family of 4 for 1 whole month. The parcels contain the following items: 

Rice, sugar, bulgur wheat, vermicelli, red lentils, tea, flour, sunflower oil, olive oil, tomato paste, dates and sweets for children. 

Kindly give whatever you can. It all counts - together we can do so much more. We just have to believe and try our very best.
