Urmila was respected & admired by all she met, she was strong, courageous & never complained about the constant pain & illness she endured. In 2007 Urmila benefited from a living donor kidney transplant. This was made possible by the Living Donor Kidney Team at St. Mary’s & the Hammersmith Hospitals. 

Urmila was a true inspiration to all that knew her, she was always giving back. Before she passed away, she donated £800 to the WLKPA; she raised this money by selling home grown curry leaf plants from our local corner shop. She was also planning to have a garden sale as soon as she recovered from her most recent illness. Sadly, she passed away in April. .

We know she would want us to continue donations to the WLKPA  in her memory. Thank you for remembering Urmila and supporting this charity.
