Story
My mum unfortunately passed away on Saturday 12th December 2020 aged 69. For the last 15 years she has been a renal patient and was having dialysis 3 times a week at Leicester General Hospital. In 1980 my mum was first diagnosed with kidney failure and started dialysis at home. She was then lucky to receive a transplant in 1981 which lasted until 2005. The transplant meant she could lead a normal life with out going for dialysis and enjoyed everything like a normal person would. One of her happiest moments was to give birth and became a mother in 1984.
Instead of bringing flowers for mum we would like you to donate to Leicester General Hospital which kept mum alive to this date.
