As some of you will be aware, I recently found out that my kidneys are failing and that I am now in need of Dialysis treatment or a transplant. The doctors believe  my kidneys will give out before the end of the year and  are now in the process of trying to find me a living donor match before I need Dialysis to support my organs. 

Whichever route we take, be it Dialysis treatment or a Kidney transplant, this will of course come with its challenges and have a huge impact on both my lifestyle and family.. Kidney Care UK are dedicated to helping those living with Kidney disease managing these changes. They provide patients with practical, emotional and financial help, and make sure no one faces kidney disease alone. 

Kidney disease affects different people in different ways, both physically and emotionally. It can impact on many aspects of life, including personal relationships, jobs and social life. This is why I have chosen to support Kidney Care UK and raise money for such a worthy cause! A cause, I may need to access myself in the near future!

On Sunday 26th June 2022, I will be running a Cricket Fun day hosted at Huntingdon Cricket Ground. The tournament will consist of three teams competing in a league style format. As well as cricket, there will be plenty food and drinks for spectators to purchase, some highlights including cake, cupcakes and even samosas! My aim is to involve as many people in a funday of cricket, enabling me to raise awareness of Kidney disease and importantly raise money to help Kidney Care UK continue their vital work! 

My target is £2500 and I hope with your support this will be achieved!
