Story
As a former member of the Armed Forces and having first hand knowledge of the sterling work that is carried out by The Royal British Legion I am organising and participating in what I think is a fitting challenge to raise funds for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, along with supporting Armed Forces Day.
The challenge involves cycling 90 miles from Newport Shropshire to Pen Y Pass café then followed by a walk/jog up Snowdon and finishing with a return 90 mile cycle to Newport Shropshire.
An additional 40 mile bike loop has been offered to those who do not fancy the stroll up Snowdon needless to say the bike loop has additional ascent involved.
Being an active member of Nova Raiders Cycling Club, who as a club since being formed over 7 years ago have supported Local and National charities to the sum of nearly £40,000.
Thank you for supporting this most worthwhile charity and it would be great to see as many people as possible out supporting the event on route.
So far we have had great interest in this years event throughout the country and from Armed Forces Personnel
