In May 2021, Gaza was attacked with airstrikes that killed hundreds of Palestinians, including innocent children. The bombings left thousands of families displaced, many were made homeless
without food, water or shelter. It is incredibly distressing to see so many innocent families and young children suffering with many children left traumatised.

UCF (Ummah Care Foundation) are on ground zero and have been active on the ground in Gaza since 2014. Our aim is to ensure we fully understand the needs of those affected so that we can ensure we prioritise and provide exactly what is needed to those suffering. 

Hospitals and medical institutions were overrun and innocent victims were in desperate need of emergency aid and medical treatment. A First Aid Response Clinic was initially set up to provide medical supplies and treatment to innocent victims in need of emergency assistance due to the crisis. 

Based on the needs analysis, access to clean water was an urgent need. We all need access to clean water to survive. With your help we can continue to install water tanks and supply water. A donation of £45 provides a years water supply to a home affected.

In addition to this, we plan to set up a food kitchen that will serve daily cooked meals to those suffering. It costs just £2.14 to provide a meal for one person.

Furthermore, arrangements to provide bedding and sleeping equipment at temporary school shelters are also being made.
