We can help people in many ways whether that is a smile, a good word or a meal. I'm so excited to share that I've been blessed with the opportunity to go and give directly to the hands of those in need in one of the poorest countries in the world.

IN 3 weeks from 25th October - 1st November 2023 (1 Week) I will be going on a SELF-FUNDED (Paying for my own flight tickets & accomodation) humanitarian aid trip to Uganda in Africa with Nelson-based registered charity, Hope for Mankind (100% Donation Policy). This is the same charity that is building the Uganda Homes for the Poor Ramadan 2023 Project & the £75 Water Pumps.

We will source, put together and deliver 35kg+ food parcels to those in need in the remotest areas of one of the poorest countries in the world.

WITH YOUR SUPPORT I am hoping to raise at LEAST £2,520 to provide 56 Food Parcels costing £45 each (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) & weighing at least 35KG+ each.

PLEASE DONATE (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) towards my £45 (35KG+) Food Parcel which will last a poor family of 5 for between 3 to 4 weeks. Each 35KG+ Food Parcel will contain the following: 10kg Flour, 10kg Rice, 5KG Cooking Oil, 5KG Beans, 2KG Sugar, 1KG Dow Flour, 5 Packs of various Biscuits & 1 Packet of Juice Powder.

41% live in poverty in Uganda & it is amongst the poorest nations in the world with 75% of the 48 million population living in rural areas. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the poverty in Uganda. Many live in straw roofed mud built homes which have no electricity, water or sanitation. At least 20 million people DO NOT have access to clean water with much of Uganda is open water & swampland, which is undrinkable. This gives rise to water borne diseases.

The cost of living crisis & global food prices has also affected the poorest nations like Uganda with food prices increasing multi-fold.

Whilst out in Uganda insh'Allah we will also be hoping to open Water Wells, provide community meals, sweets for children, clothes for Orphans & the Poor. We hope to visit Hope for Mankind's Orphanage in the Capital city, Kampala.
