The whippet with the special heart ❤️ 

Our beautiful little Twiggy was an amazing girl. Twig was 16 months old when she was diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis a condition where there is a narrowing to the valve at the exit to the right side of the heart limiting blood flow. On Tuesday 9th May 2023 Twiggy had the surgery she needed to hopefully fix the problem. Unfortunately our Twig passed away during surgery and we are beyond heartbroken, we feel completely numb to even express how we feel. 

Twiggy’s heart was too special for this world.

The whole team at Sarah Smith Cardiology was brilliant and we couldn’t fault them at all during this whole process. They cared for our Twig as if she was their own. They also spent her final moments with her as she sadly crossed the rainbow bridge.

We are raising money for Yappy Ever After, a charity who work closely with Sarah Smith Cardiology for any dogs they take on with heart conditions. 

Our heart & home will never be the same, we will never forget our Twig as she was loved by so many. Any donations are greatly appreciated towards this wonderful cause.
