Tube Challenge (London Underground) · 24 March 2022

We provide emotional & practical support to anyone affected by a sight/hearing loss

Story

Tracey Morris and I are doing the London Underground Tube Challenge on 24th and 25th March 2022. This involves us visiting all 272 underground stations in 2 days, mainly on the tube but we can also use public transport or walking. As many of you know, I have Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) which is a degenerative eye condition which will gradually rob me of my sight, impacting massively on my day to day living. For anyone with full sight, this will be quite a challenge but for me even more so as there are steps, uneven surfaces, the darkness and most of all, other humans!! Tracey will be my sighted guide to make sure I stay safe throughout the challenge. We're anticipating taking 2 whole days to complete and afterwards will probably make use of a cold beverage in that London!
