Dudley Zoo and Castle runs as a not-for-profit charity relying on ticket sales in order to operate and care for our many endangered species. Due to the Covid19 virus we are hoping your support could see us through these troubling times.

Story

Although we opened our doors again on Monday 15th June we still need your support! DZC runs as a non for profit charity relying on ticket sales in order to operate and care for our many exotic species. Due to the COVID-19 virus we were closed for 3 months were hoping your support could see us through these troubling times. Please consider still making a donation on our JustGiving page, every little helps! Rest assured, during this closure it was still business as usual for our dedicated keeping staff, who continued to ensure our 1,600-strong animal collection receive the best care possible. However the zoo is run as a non for profit charity and we do rely on our fantastic visitors tickets to help us with the upkeep of our animals. Obviously during this period we had no income coming into the zoo to help with the care for our wildlife and we hoped our supporters may be able to help.

About the charity

DZC is not only home to a large collection of endangered species, but also an 11th century castle, the world's largest single collection of Tecton buildings, and an important geological site. DZC has something to offer all - and a chance to get closer to some of the world's rarest animals.
