So much has changed in 2020. The way we work, the way we gather, the way we celebrate with friends and familyand the way The Spring serves survivors of domestic violence.
This year, The Spring has had to adapt to how we operate, but we have never stopped being present for survivors, or being a haven they could flee to when their home was no longer safe. Continuing to provide safety each day, while also social distancing to keep COVID-19 at bay, has taken some finesse, but our wonderful staff are committed to survivors and children they serve!
We are committed to ensuring that our operations arent interrupted by this pandemic, because we cant stop serving women and children in danger. We know abusers have weaponized the pandemic, and are using social distancing as another way to maintain power and control over their partners. We also know our community cares deeply about victims and their children, and wants to help us ensure safety and hope for these most vulnerable families.
