Story
Update - Well its been a week since I last mentioned anything about Angus 50 Mile challenge, well he did it. It was a long hard slog but he kept smiling, fought through the hard times even when we lost each other, he climbed hills faster than me and well truly showed me what a wonderful young man he is.
It took us 9 hours give or take to cycle, it was momentous and I think Angus learnt so much about himself.
Now Angus did not do it for fame or fortune he did it because he cared enough, so if you haven't already please make a donation.
Angus slowly realising how far he is going tomorrow!
Hi All,
Next Thursday the 31st July my son Angus who is 9 is going to be cycling from Fishponds in Bristol to Radstock and back which is roughly 50 miles in aid of St Peters Hospice.
St Peters Hospice is a Bristol charity caring for adults with life-limiting illnesses. They aim to improve the quality of their living and dying while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.
A friend of ours recently lost his wife and St Peters Hospice ensured that his family and his wife got the care and love they needed at a time of deep sadness.
This was all Angus's idea, and he is doing this jointly with his head teacher who is riding form Bristol to Whitby over three days.
It would be fantastic if you could donate a small amount and maybe add a few words of encouragement for Angus. He would like to raise £500 and if he gets half that I would be happy and he would be extremely happy.
Photos to follow shortly.
