Fundraising for British-Ukrainian Aid
Story
Will, Crispin and Lisa are a group of professionals with successful backgrounds in logistics, touring, hospitality and event organisation. They have worked on major events and tours in Ukraine in the past - including UEFA European Football Championships, major music and theatre touring, festivals and other large scale live events.
Our personal contacts in Ukraine have reached out to us with real, urgent requirements for assistance - particularly for medical aid, which has moved us and our businesses (EFM Global Logistics, XYZ Brand Experience and Harts Group restaurants) to act urgently in support of the people of Ukraine, who are facing immense suffering and hardship across the country.
Our focus with this fundraising initiative is to raise as much money as possible, to fund and deliver to Ukraine important 'big ticket' items, including 4x4 ambulances and bulk medical supplies. These items are urgently needed, with the unfolding and ongoing humanitarian crisis.
As a result of our combined backgrounds, we are adept at sourcing and distributing these goods and materials. We have the ability to get these items across the border into Ukraine and target the delivery of them to where they are most desperately needed.
We have partnered with and are raising money for the British-Ukrainian Aid charity, who will work with us to use these funds to procure and deliver medical and humanitarian aid directly to those most in need, and who are affected on the ground by the tragedy in Ukraine.
Even as the situation in Ukraine slips down the headlines, the human cost continues to unfold unabated. There is a desperate need for 300,000 bespoke first aid kits and supplies to be distributed across the country and particularly right to the front lines.
We are very pleased to report that the first 4x4 ambulance has already been purchased and handed over to British-Ukrainian Aid (loaded with vital medicines and supplies). The local paramedics are delighted with the high spec and speedy vehicle that we have supplied them, and in their own words, "The vehicle is at the front line already saving lives".
We have kickstarted the fundraiser with personal donations and are now asking our friends and friends of our businesses to do the same.
