Story
I am pleased to announce that thanks to The Children's Day Nursery I have exceeded my target by 39%, and still going. Many thanks to all the girls for their hard work and support x
Getting close now, 6 weeks to go and I don't mind telling you all I am excited and terrified. I can't even watch a film that shows people jumping out planes without getting the heeby jeebies! Thankfully I have talked Vonda Price, a friend of mine, to ride shotgun and if worse comes to the worst push me out!! 30 seconds of madness. I hope Charlie will be proud of his mummy, because I am doing this for him x

Hi everyone, thanks for donating, and to all the generous yet anonymous people who I cannot thank personally. I think your all amazing for giving me such support x
Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you all know I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May 2012. I have since had numerous biopsies, ultrasounds, bone scans, MRI scans, CT scans, two different types of chemotherapy and a lumpectomy. I receive IV Herceptin every 3 weeks and a four week course of radiotherapy is due to commence on the 10th January.
All these tests and treatments are designed to keep me healthy and free from future cancers so that I can continue to be a loving wife to Rob, mother to Charlie (age 3) and stepmum to Bradlee (age 11) for as long as possible, and live life to the full. Cancer at 38 is a serious wake up call and the kick up the arse that I needed to do something with my life and make it count. This skydive is going to be my 'jump start' into a better life, and a new and improved me!!
My Skydive will support Cancer Research Wales who are based at Velindre Hospital, Cardiff, where I have been having my treatments. They guarantee that all money raised in Wales is spent in Wales funding pioneering cancer research to help people like me. The vast array of tests and treatments I have had would not have been possible without the dedication of those who work with Cancer Research, so I am doing my bit to give something back.
You can also do your bit by sponsoring me. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Cancer Research Wales and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
