Hetty`s support families covering the 7 Districts of Nottinghamshire.

I am operational team lead at Hetty`s and we desperate need your help to continue supporting families across Nottinghamshire who have been affected by someone else`s substance misuse.

Society even in 2021 still has a stigma against substance misuse, homelessness and mental health.   It does not discriminate irrelevant of your age, race, ethnicity and class.   Please help me to help others, end that stigma, prejudice and help the world be kinder to each other.

During the pandemic the world through turmoil had more humanity - please let`s not loose that.

I have chosen Hetty`s as my charity not just because of my role, but because I am passionate about the work they achieve.   We are a small team and each and every day I am inspired by the staff and array of volunteers who give up their time, energy to support individuals struggling each and every day.

I have been affected by many things during my life and helping is my way of giving back.   Self medicating is sometimes the only way individuals feel they can cope with the advertises that life throws in their direction.   There are healthier more resilient ways in order to do this.   So help me to help others.   The thought of sleeping rough to me is absolutely terrifying, I hate being cold and I love my creature comforts, so I am stepping out of my zone here!

Therefore, doing this is a massive challenge for me.  I hope you can support me in order to help others.
